Nutrition

Following a nutritional plan that is tailored to your individual Ayurvedic body type is crucial. Meals should be freshly prepared using fresh ingredients. Reheating food results in a loss of nutrients that are required by the body. 

The most important meal according to Ayurveda is lunch because at midday, the digestive system is at its most active. Consume a lighter meal is the evening that does not contain any animal protein. 

Exercise

It is important to activate your circulation regularly, ensuring that joints and muscles are function. The reward for doing so rewarded with the release of serotonin, the hormone that gives you the feeling of happiness. Select an exercise plan that is catered to your individual needs, focusing on balancing the body and avoiding competitive sports. 

Detoxification

Detoxification is a significant part of an Ayurvedic health care routine. Start off by making small changes to your daily routine. 

It is advised to undergo a Pancha Karma treatment once a year to thoroughly free the body of any harmful substances. This will also have a healing effect on mind and body. It is best to seek medical assistance from experienced doctors and a well-trained Ayurvedic therapy team. The average Pancha Karma treatment lasts between 2 to 3 weeks and is effective for several months. 

Relaxation

Find a relaxation method that suits you, whether it be meditation or other techniques such as progressive muscle relaxation. What's important is finding inner peace and relaxation with the selected method. Listen to calming music or take a long walk in the fresh outdoors. Yoga is a great option as it offers both relaxation and exercise.  

Rasayanas - holistic revitalization

The objective is to rejuvenate body and mind. Rasayanas can be performed individually as a kind of revitalization measure. Take a moment to note how to do good by your body and mind, for example, exercising more frequently and following a healthier lifestyle. It is all about preventing what could lead to sickness and ailments.
