Description
A pure and natural sweetener obtained from dates! The finely ground dates that can be added to sweet as well as savoury baked goods. You can add a sweet touch to spicy dishes such stews, pot roasts and curries with this product too. Also delicious as a topping on desserts and muesli.
Tip: Instead of conventional sugar, you can use powdered dates for to sweeten the filling in strudels and similar dishes. The naturally sweet taste also emphasises the taste of fruit in the filling.
Note: These fairtrade dates are grown under the Tunisian sun by local HAND IN HAND Rapunzel partners. They are harvested, sorted, cleaned, heated with steam and dried. Finally, the dried dates are ground into a powder.
